First off, I did experience friendly service at Leonardi Automotive. I paid for a diagnostic to figure out a coolant leak and an oil leak on my BWM. The diagnostic was thorough and detailed as to what needed repair. The estimated repair cost quoted by Leonardi was a sky-high $8560! This was to replace 5 coolant system hoses, a valve cover and engine oil pan gasket. Wow! I did extensive research using ChatGPT and the AI consistently came back with a parts & labor cost ranging between $4000-$5000 (tax included). I called three other places in Novato and shared my detailed diagnostic with them in order to get three other quotes for the same repairs. The three additional estimates came back at $3995, $4000, and $4500 (tax included) – consistent with ChatGPT. I don't feel that Leonardi Automotive was honest in their estimate. Glad I did my research. I won't be going back to Leonardi's.

As usual, Leonardi was meticulous in the service of my car. In addition, I had just injured my knee, and they went out of their way to help me get my car over and back to their facility. I have found this to be typical of personalized service they offer their customers. Can't highly recommend them enough.
